Shihan – Neil Madeley

Neil started at the Crawley dojo in 1974 and passed his Shodan in 1980. He passed his Nidan 1987 before emigrating to New Zealand where he lived for 5 years and was an instructor at the Auckland North Shore Dojo and became a qualified Knockdown Referee.

He gained his Sandan in 1990 in New Zealand before returning to the BKK and the Crawley dojo. Sensei Neil Madeley was awarded his 4th Dan in  Nov 2007 and his Godan Oct 2014.

He captained the England Clicker team to victory against in 1979 and was made the reserve for the England Team (Middleweight) for the 2nd European Knockdown tournament in 1982.
